Bassenthwaite Rotary Tiger Boat Challenge – Took place on Saturday 14th September. A great great day out was had and a record number of local teams battled it out against each other to raise money for their chosen charities. At the end of the day, A Cup was presented to the winning team, the runners up and the best fancy dressed team (optional). The  BBQ,  a bar and a soft-drinks/cakes stall proved very popular.
